• Sleep Out for Llamau!

On 24th October, V3 Group, it’s clients, suppliers, family, and it’s friends came together for a powerful cause raising awareness, and much needed funds, for Llamau in support of homelessness and providing counselling for the young people and young people they support. Together, we braved the cold in our sleeping bags, reflecting on the challenges faced by those without a home and showing solidarity through our actions.

We are incredibly proud of every member of the team who took part in this event, and look forward to pledging our time and efforts to our next charity fundraiser.

  • Row for 24

Over the past 3 years we have completed our annual ‘Row424Hrs’ Challenge. Different charities are selected each year to raise much-needed funds. In 2020 Cystic Fibrosis and InTouch, an RNRL charity that supports veterans, were chosen. In 2021 it was Velindre Cancer Hospital in support of one of our drivers , Alfie who was diagnosed with throat cancer late in 2020. Alfie was well enough to do the last five minutes of the challenge with the support of his family watching him. The charity of choice for 2023 was Action for Children, and this year we chose to raise money for the homeless charity, Llamau.

  • Caerphilly 10k

Ian Bruford, Contracts Manager of CASS, triumphantly completed a local marathon recently. What makes this achievement even more impressive is the fact that Ian has endured a hip and 2 ankle operations in recent years. Ian dedicated his efforts to fundraising for LLamau, helping to combat homelessness. As it stands, V3 have raised over £5,000 for Llamau- our chosen charity for 2024.

  • Boycott your bed

V3 braved the elements and took part in ‘Boycott Your Bed’ on October 6th, raising £1,603 for children’s charity, Action for Children. The team, sacrificed the comfort of their own beds, instead, spending the night sleeping outside under the stars to raise funds for children’s much needed essentials such as beds, toiletries and warm clothes.

  • Pen y Fan

V3 raised an impressive £1,145 on October 4th when some of the team tackled the summit of Pen-y-Fan to raise money for the chosen charity Action for Children. Despite challenging weather and terrain , the team made it to the top in one piece with smiles on their faces and pride in their hearts knowing they’d raised money for very worthy cause.

  • Muddy Assault

Three members of V3, Katrina, Jack and Clair, got down and dirty in the name of charity, tackling obstacles in muddy terrain, at the Usk Valley. The brave 3 emerged from the challenge exhausted and filthy, but extremely proud to have added to the ever-growing pot of donations raised for Llamau. Llamau are the leading homelessness charity in Wales, supporting the most vulnerable young people and women.

  • Veterans Awards

Tom Gent won the Bronze Award for Veteran Owned Business of the Year 2023. It is great that Tom has been recognised as a Veteran, something Tom is extremely proud of. The determination and grit he encompasses today is owed to all he learnt during his time serving the Royal Navy. These transferable skills have undoubtedly contributed to the success he’s achieved within the construction industry thereafter.

since 2021 V3 have raised over
